Skyships: Bedroom Window - Value Thumbnail

So I have a project going which is very dear to me and which I expect to take a super long time as I figure out how exactly I want to go about it, and its working title is Skyships. I don't plan on finishing/publishing it any time soon, so for the moment it's just something to go to for inspiration for work.

I've spent a lot of time on this even at this stage, because I'm using this piece to try and do literally the best I can right now. That has meant a LOT of messing with values to understand how the heck to get the lighting I'm imagining in my head. There's still more to do - I'm not sure that it's accurate in a lot of places, also possibly too dark in the shadows, also I need to add light on the far right wall, also aaaaAAAAAAAHHHHH

Anyways I still love this painting and I hope it turns out well. I thought I'd share it at this stage, since I'm pretty much at the point where I need to draw in final lines for all the shapes. Yes, everything will be painted over. It will be scary. I will be brave. We'll see how I do.
